Anything can be a hat. Use what you have available to show off your own personal style. A bowl? Your blankie? A stuffed animal? Yes, all of these things when placed atop your head can be a hat! Simply place the desired object on top of your head and say with a smile, "it's a hat!" The fashion world will appreciate your fresh new outlook.
You know how adults say the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence? Well, the food is always better on Mommy's plate. Even if the food on her plate is identical to what is on your own plate, choose to pick off of hers. It tastes better that way.
While in church it's a good idea to entertain the people sitting directly behind you. Smile. Talk. Show them your coloring book. Offer them a crayon. But beware, if they get too loud you'll need to shush them with a loud, "shhhh" and a finger to your lips. Then say "Daddy" and point at him so that they understand why they need to be quiet. Sheesh, Daddy is talking. You'd think those old ladies would pay attention.
